I have always loved a good challenge. Whether it's learning a new program, improving an existing process or finding new creative solutions, if there's a problem to be solved, I'm ready to dive in. I knew from a young age that being creative was what I wanted to do every day for the rest of my life and when I discovered the field of graphic design, I knew I had found my calling.
For the past 10 years, I have been helping clients large and small communicate with their audiences through traditional print channels as well as a variety of digital media. I'm currently acting as the Associate Manager of the Canadian Tire brand design system. My days are spent developing and pitching new creative to achieve stakeholder buy-in, creating Omni- and In-Channel marketing brand guidelines, overseeing the roll-out of the design system, strategizing and prioritizing requests for impact and efficiencies and creating production ready assets for use in various channels.
Outside of work, I spend my time baking, getting outside to hike/bike/camp and taking up new hobbies (need any custom rubber stamps, anyone?). I'm a bit of a jack of all trades and love to learn new things. I'm currently learning to do some (minor) home renovations and next on the docket is to try my hand at stained glass.
